Female Body Autonomy Episode Summary:
Sarah and Adam don’t usually get political here on Dating Kinda Sucks, and this is no exception. The issue of bodily autonomy for women shouldn’t be a political issue. It’s a human rights issue. It’s an equality issue. It’s a power issue. And it’s an issue that your hosts will dive into, as it’s essential for every person who supports human rights and equality to be loud, be vocal, and speak their minds. You may not agree with what we have to say, but listen and see if we don’t sound damned eloquent saying it.

Host Thoughts on Bodily Autonomy
Well, never thought we would get political on this show, but then again women’s rights shouldn’t be political…they should be a no brainer. I do appreciate Adam changing the phrase pro-life to anti-choice.
This shouldn’t even be something to argue. It pisses me off to no end that there are Americans out there who want to regress back to times when coat-hanger abortions cost lives and women didn’t have the say over their own bodies. Because in the end, it’s not about pro-life. It’s about being anti-woman. It’s about old white awful men (and some old white awful women too) who don’t realize their expiration date is long overdue. They need to stop trying to make policy and let new leaders step in who actually have the best of humanity at heart.
