Host Thoughts on Telling Someone You're Not Interested
Ending it always sounds easier than it actually is. Texting a paragraph could come across as disingenuous and saying it to their face could get awkward. As Adam stated, being direct doesn’t hurt. Don’t mention that you should be friends or that they suck because of XYZ reason. End the fling/relationship thing like an adult and move on.
Be honest and be clear. Men are terrible at subtlety, and if they think there’s a chance, they’ll cling to that so hard that you’ll never shake them. You might be worried about hurting their feelings, but isn’t that better than dragging them along like an anchor?
